The Pleasanton Ridge Regional Park has the most breath-taking views. You can pick up the trail at the main staging area on Foothill Road. This trail accomadates hikers, bicyclists, and equestrians. The canyon views are simply spectacular.
The Brushy Peak Regional Preserve is a sacred landmark that spans over 1,700 feet. The Brushy Peak is a landmark at the juncture of the San Francisco Bay, the California Delta, and the Central Valley. You’ll find opportunities for biking, hiking and running in the preserve. Make sure to bring your own drinking water, no drinking water is available.
De Valle Regional Park lies deep in a valley, surrounded by stunning oak-covered hills. You’ll find this lakeside delight just 10 miles south of Livermore and it makes for a great family day out. There is hiking, horseback riding, swimmimg, windsurfing and boating. There are loads of family fun activites to do at De Valle Regional Park.
Dublin Hills Regional Preserve offers some incredible views. The Iron Horse Regional Trail is great for more experienced hikers wanting to take in the Tri-Valley scenic vistas. Las Trampas Wilderness Bollinger Creek Trail has a short, fairly easy hike that takes you to the top of Las Trampas Ridge.
