Concannon Vineyard is a historic vineyard set among stunning vistas and the majestic beauty of the Livermore Valley. The vineyard is one of the oldest Livermore wineries, and it has operated under the same stewardship since 1883. The Concannon Vineyard was established by an Irish immigrant, James Concannon. Translated from Gaelic, the Concannon name translates to "wisdom without compromise." Tours of the vineyard are historic and uplifting, and it's a great way to spend the day. Concannon was the first vineyard to bottle its Petite Sirah as varietal wines, which are highly valued today.
Because the Marriott Pleasanton is located close to this historic vineyard, it's only fitting that we offer two wine packages for guests. Our “Experience the Wine Country” Package offers a buffet breakfast, a bottle of wine and a coupon to use at the Market Cafe and Bar. The “Experience Wine and Dinner” Package offers breakfast for two, a food and beverage credit for dinner and a bottle of wine. If you're interested in booking one of these packages, you can book them directly online. In addition, Concannon offers wine tours that we can help you arrange during your visit.
The Marriott Pleasanton is a Livermore hotel offering luxurious accommodations that help enhance your wine tour experience. Many of the tours at the vineyard are available by appointment only, so it's important to book early. If you're looking for accommodations with upgraded rooms and close proximity to the historic vineyard, the Marriott Pleasanton hotel is the right choice for you.
